MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

Merry Christmas, Everyone!! We hope you are well and reading this blog and in the warmth of your home!! We are very pleased to inform you that Joey made it safely to Indiana, with only minor delays due to the Indiana winter. We are also pleased to inform you that the 6 inches of snow and ice is finally melting!!
We were very fortunate to have an early Christmas with Matthew's entire family, which included a much treasured family portrait session. It was a very special time for us all, especially because we were able to visit with Matthew's brother Jacob, who lives in Oregon (We missed you Catherine !!), and partake in Grandma Sharon's famous clam chowder. We wish them safe travels as they spend the rest of the holiday season in sunny California.
It is our prayer that the winter weather allows us to travel to Georgia the day after Christmas, so we can spend the holiday with Nana, Papa, Great Papa, Aunt Julie, and Aunt Jodi. This will be Joey's first trip to Georgia, and we are all looking forward to the possibility of good, warm weather!! We are so very excited to get to actually spend Christmas with them, rather than experience it by web cam!!
We are looking forward to taking lots of pictures of our family festivities, and sharing them with you in our January blog!! Have a Wonderful Christmas, and a very Happy New Year!!

Love,

It's a Boy!!

Well, everyone, the secret is out!! It is a boy, and he was not shy about showing us. This picture was the very first view that he gave us. Matthew and I could do nothing but laugh. Like father like son!! He weighs in at 1#4oz at this point, and his anatomy and measurements are perfect so far!! We surprised Isaac with a balloon in the trunk of the car when we picked him up from school. We are very excited!! Keep your eyes peeled for more pictures in our Christmas Blog!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN 2007

Wow!! October flew by...We have been very busy this fall! We did make time for our annual trip to the pumpkin patch, where we found some of the biggest pumpkins we have ever seen!! Matthew and Isaac's pumpkins had a combined weight of 94#. Needless to say, we had plenty of pumpkin seeds to toast.

We are now on "semester countdown". Matthew has only one month of school left for this semester. Isaac is currently enjoying his first semester break, and will be on vacation until after Thanksgiving. We are anxiously awaiting the holidays. Isaac and I are going to Georgia for Thanksgiving. Joey will be traveling to Indiana for the month of December, and then we are all going to Georgia for Christmas.

The baby is busy growing, and we are scheduled for an ultrasound on December 4th. We plan to post the exciting news, along with pictures, in our December blog update. Oh... the suspense!!

We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving!!
Love, the Andrade Family.

Happy Fall, Everyone!! We have been very busy!! Isaac has been busy with middle school activities, playing the trumpet in the sixth grade band, taking piano lessons, and fall football. This years football record is 4-2 and he plays in the championship tourney this weekend. Matthew has been busy with work, school, and fishing. He just returned from a "fishing weekend" at Lake Waveland. He caught several bass, including this one that was 17 inches long!! Baby Andrade and I have been doing well, with only minor first trimester symptoms. We went to the doctor today and he said that the measurements and the baby's heartbeat are normal!! We will go back on November 6th. I will keep you posted!! Enjoy the fall weaher!

Announcing Baby Andrade

Yeah, that's right....We're Pregnant!! This new little one is due on
April 3, 2008. We are over-joyed, as you can see from the
video of Isaac's reaction!! Matthew and I agonized over the
proper way to tell Isaac. We figured if any 11 year old boy
knew what an ultrasound picture was, it would be Isaac. So, I found
the gift box, placed the picture inside, asked Matthew to be the A/V guy,
anxiously waited for him to come home from school, gave him the
box, and the rest is history!!

We are extremely excited to share this news with you!! I will post
updates as they are available. Please, check back often!
