Our Garden Tour

This is our corn patch.

See those little green shoots...that's our corn!!

This is our bean and tomato patch.

See those little green sprouts...those are our beans!!

This patch has a little bit of everything...from left to right we have two bell pepper plants, spinach, and romaine. Row 2 is snow peas...Row three is green beans...and row 4 is tomatoes.

This patch contains cucumber plants, green beans, and tomato plants.

See our cucumber plants grow?!?

...and this beauty is our cilantro!!

Matthew put in a lot of hard work...he made all of the boxes...mixed and filled all of the dirt and then made all of the chicken wire protectors to keep the "critters" out...then Isaac and I planted. We are so grateful that everything is actually coming up. This is our first garden as adults...so help us keep our fingers crossed...We are looking forward to a plentiful harvest!!

We started off February at the Band Ensemble contest,
where this trio won a gold for their performance.

Next we were off to "The Cabin" in Tennessee for the
1st annual Isaac and Sammy Birthday Retreat

Then we got a visit from Aunt Julie!!

JANUARY 2009

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

"Look Nana...Itsy Bitsy Spider!"

Nana and Sammy practiced Itsy Bitsy Spider for 10 days. Now, he has turned in to the Itsy Bitsy Spider Monster...he wants us to sing it all of the time.

We rounded out our January with the largest snow fall in
13 years of Indiana history...12 inches...then 2 more a couple days later.

Whew!!! Well there you have it!!
