SUMMER FUN........AND RASPBERRIES

Happy summer, Everyone!! Wow....June flew by!! We have been busy with lots of summer fun!! As of yesterday, Isaac's baseball season came to an end. He did very well!! As you can tell by the video, he can HIT that ball!! He has also completed sixth grade, and is officially a 7th grader. I know, I can't believe it either!!

Joey made it to Indiana safely, without any problems, on June 21st. He was extremely excited to meet his new little brother. So far, Joey is the only one that can consistently make Sammy laugh. Joey will be in Indiana until July 30th. He is looking forward to spending a lot more time with his Dad.

Matthew has been very busy!! Unfortunately, he has been busy at work, and not in the "Man Cave" with his ham radio equipment. Did you notice the picture of the tower? I believe Matthew's words were "it is a sight of beauty!" He gets all choked up about it. Let's see how many more contacts he can make with this antenna set-up.

And last but not least, Sammy. Sammy is growing hand over fist. He weighs in at 15.2# and is 24 inches long. For those of you that are keeping track, that means he has gained 9# and has grown 4 1/2 inches in three months. I haven't even started feeding him Miracle Grow yet, I promise!! He is hitting that fun stage of smiling, cooing, the beginnings of laughter, and don't forget the raspberries. He's a pro at that one!! I am enjoying every minute!!

Well, I believe that wraps up June at the Andrade house! I look forward to updating you next month! Please, take care, keep in touch, and remember that we love and miss all of you!!

Love,
The Andrade Family

P.S. I am sorry about the lighting in the Sammy video, but it was almost bedtime.

Happy Spring!!

Happy Spring, Everyone!! The Andrade family is busier than ever these days, and we have the pictures to prove it!

Sammy has been busy growing... everyday. He currently weighs 13# 4oz. and is 22 1/2 inches long. That means he has almost doubled his birth weight, and has gotten 3 inches longer in 9 weeks. If he keeps this up he will be bigger than his brothers in no time!! As you can see by the pictures and video, he is smiling at us now. He makes the most adorable coo sounds, and has been very busy attending all of his big brother's activities.

Isaac is a different kind of busy. So far this month, he has participated in a band concert and a cultural fair . The concert consisted of the entire 6th grade band. You could tell that they all had practiced very hard. They did an excellent job. I was very impressed by how professional they sounded. The cultural fair was amazing. Each student picked a country to research. They compiled their research by composing a poster board, a diorama, and a written report. Then they displayed those, all in one evening, along with an authentic dish from their country for everyone to taste. We had a lot of fun!! He has also started baseball. That's right it's baseball season again!! Isaac's favorite time of year. So far they are 2:0 but, with a little practice I think they will become a team to reckon with!! In his video you are witnessing his first RBI of the season. Isaac's coach has him playing 1st and 3rd base. I'm sure I will have more than enough opportunity to post more video and pictures from this season!

Matthew has installed a new tower for his ham radio station. This is a picture of the hole he had to dig (by hand) in order to anchor the tower. As soon as the concrete is set, I can guarantee he will be up on the roof switching all of his antenna...again!! Needless to say, he is very excited!

As for me...I am just trying to keep up!! I am having a ball!! I am so blessed to have such a healthy and exciting family!

Next month we will be able to add pictures of Joey!! He will be arriving in Indiana on June 21st. Sammy is very excited to meet his big brother, Joey!!

Until next month, remember that we love and miss you all!!

Love,
The Andrade Family
